Given that A-B=8 and that 2A=3B, find the value of A and B.

A-B=8
A=8-B. -(1)
putting the value of A in equation 2A=3B
2(8-B)=3B
16-2B=3B
16=3B-2B
B=16
putting the value of B in equation 2A=3B
2A=3B
2A=3*16
2A= 48
A=48/2
A= 24.

HENCE A=24 AND B= 16.
