Concept:

LCM means Least Common Multiple, i.e. it is the method which is used to find the least multiple of the given numbers.

Given:

We have,

HCF of 135 and 225 = 45

And,

Two numbers 135 and 225.

Find:

We are asked to find the LCM of 135 and 225.

Solution:

So,

We have,

HCF of 135 and 225 = 45

So,

To find the LCM of 135 and 225, find factors of both the given numbbers.

i.e.

The factor of 135,

i.e.

135 = 3 × 3 × 3 × 5

NOw,

The factor of 225,

i.e.

225 = 3 × 3 × 5 × 5

Now,

From the factors of the given numbers,

We get,

LCM (135, 225) = 3 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 5

i.e.

LCM (135, 225) = 675

Hence, the LCM of the given numbers i.e. 135 and 225 is 675.
