We know that according to the quotient law we can write log (10x/y2) as

log 10x – log y2

Now applying the law of product & power we get


log 10 + log x – 2 log y


We know that value of log 10 = 1.


Putting its value we get, 1 + (m+n) – 2(m-n) = 1 - m + 3n (Ans)
