mean of 5 no=27
27*5=135

mean of 6no=25
6*25=150

exclude no is 150-135=15

hop it helps

Prakrati1: but if one number has got reduced then the number of observations must be 4..i think it should be 25×4 = 100
Prakrati1: therefore, 135-100 = 35
aastha15das: yeah
aastha15das: how is my answer
chiragverma: you are wrong because here is given only 5 observation and when you subtract from this one observation then you get 4 observation?

as we know that for finding the sum of the number we multiply number of observation into .threfore
5*27=135
now now according to question
let's to know the number which is excluded from the sum of the numbers x.
therefore now according to question (135 - x)/5 is equal to 27 - 2.
135-x=25*5
135 -x=125
now
135 =x+125
135-125=x
x=10 therefore the number which is excluded from the number of observation is 10.

chiragverma: am I right or wrong
aastha15das: i think u r wrong
chiragverma: okk
aastha15das: u can see my answer
