a ) x square - y square / x square + xy

(x + y ) ( x - y ) / x ( x + 1 )

( because a square - b square = ( a + b ) ( a - b ) )

( x is common )

x - y /x

Therefore P = x - y /x

b ) x - y /x

Put the value of x = -4

y = -6

( -4 ) - ( - 6 )

-4 + 6

Therefore , the value of P is 2
