g at height 10km :

g'= g(1-(2h/R))

g {}^{h}  = g(1 - (2 \times 10) \div 6400)

which gives :

g {}^{h}  = 9.76

g at a depth:

g'= g(1-d/r)

g {}^{d}  = (1 - 10 \div 6400)

which gives g= 9.78
