Frequency of sound, f = x
Speed of sound, v = 340 m /s
Wave length, l = 1.4 km = 1400 m
As we know that ,
v = fl
340 = x ( 1400)
x = 340/1400
x = 34/140
x = 1.7/ 7
x = 0.24 Hz
Therefore frequency of sound wave is 0.24 Hz.
( Note : Symbols used for denoting frequency , and wavelength are not correct . I had used alphabets as there are no Greek symbol in my Android keypad )
