Given that the mass of the earth is 8.15 times the mass of the moon and the diameter of the moon is 0.27 times that of the earth. Calculate the acceleration due to gravity of the surface of the moon. Given g on the earth =9.8m/s^2​

substituting values we get,

ge/gm=

(M/R^2)/ (M/r^2).

10/gm = (80m/16r^2)/ (M/r^2)

solving these we get,

gm= 2m/s^2
