R is ⊥ to P

magnitude of vector P = magnitude of vector R

find the angle between P and Q :

let the angle between Q and R is Ф

Q cos Ф = R     --(1)

Q sin Ф = P        ---(2)

divide 2 by 1  

tan Ф = Q sin Ф / Q cos Ф = P/R = 1

tan Ф = 1

Ф = 45

so , the required angle between P ans Q is  

45 + 90 = 135
