Given :- ∆BAG ≅ ∆LIP , BA = 10 , AG = 12, BG = 16, AND IP = 2x + 6 .

To Find :- The length of sides of the two triangles .

Answer :-

we know that, when two ∆'s are congruent , then,

  • Their corresponding three side lengths are equal.

since we have given that, ∆BAG ≅ ∆LIP .

so,

→ BA = LI

→ AG = IP

→ BG = LP

then,

→ BA = 10 (given)

→ LI = 10

→ AG = 12 (given)

→ IP = (2x + 6) = 12 and, => 2x = 12 - 6 => x = 3 .

→ BG = 16 (given)

→ LP = 16 .

therefore, sides of ∆BAG are :-

  • BA = 10
  • AG = 12
  • BG = 16

and, sides of ∆LIP are :-

  • LI = 10
  • IP = 12
  • LP = 16 .
