Given the following data, compute for the mean, median and mode then
interpret.
a. The scores of fifteen students in Mathematics are the following:
15,10, 17, 16, 21, 13, 18, 12, 10, 8, 20, 15, 16, 15, 15
b. The scores of fifteen students in Mathematics are the following:
15,10, 17, 16, 21, 13, 18, 12, 10, 8, 20, 15, 16, 15, 15, 30

a) MEAN- sum of all numbers/how many numbers

-> 15+10+17+16+21+13+18+12+1+8+20+15+16+15+15

-> 221/15

= 14.73

MEDIAN - the number in the middle

= 12

MODE - the value that occurs the most

= 15

b) MEAN - sum of all numbers/how many numbers

->15+10+17+16+21+13+18+12+10+8+20+15+16+15+15+30

-> 251/15

= 16.73

MEDIAN - the number in the middle

-> (a+b)÷2

-> 12+10÷2

= 17

MODE - the value that occurs the most

= 15
