Therefore, a6 - a5 = a5 - a4 = a4 - a3 = a3 - a2 = a2 - a1 = 7
As the difference is common, this is an AP

a = -5, d = 7

So, general term:

a + (n-1)d
= -5 + 7(n-1)             or       -5 + 7n - 7              or           7n - 12
