M' would be {2,5,6,8}

since.U={2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9} and M={3,4,7,9}

M'=U-M={2,5,6,8}

Hope it Helps...

Answer:  the correct option is

(B) {2, 5, 6, 8}.

Step-by-step explanation:  We are given the Venn-diagram as shown in the figure with sets M and N and universal set U.

We are to choose the correct M', the complement of set M.

From the Venn-diagram, we notice that

M = {3, 4, 7, 9},

N = {4, 6, 7}

and the Universal set is given by

U = {2, 3, 4, 5, 6 , 7, 8, 9}.

Therefore, the complement of set M is given by

M' = U - M = {2, 3, 4, 5, 6 , 7, 8, 9} - {3, 4, 7, 9} = {2, 5 6, 8}.

Thus, M' = {2, 5, 6, 8}.

Thus, (B) is the correct option.
