Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = 3x - 4 and g(x) = 4x + 10

f(x)=g(x)

3x -4 = 4x +10

x = -14

Answer:

The value of x for which f(x)=g(x) is:  -14

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

  • F(x) = 3x - 4 ----------------(i)
  • G(x) = 4x + 10 -----------------(ii)
  • F(x) = g(x) -----------------(iii)

Now,

We have to find the value of x-

From equation (iii),

        F(x) = g(x) ----------(iv)

Put the value of f(x) and g(x) from equation- (i) and (ii) in equation-(iv),it becomes-

        3x - 4 = 4x + 10

        3x - 4x = 10 + 4

        -x = 14

         x = -14
