"L.C.M. = 300

Given:

H.C.F. (150,100) = 50

To find:

L.C.M.

Solution:

1st number = 150

2nd number = 100

H.C.F =  50

There is a formula that deals with the H.C.F., L.C.M. and the product of the numbers. Using the formula, any one of the missing can be found.

H.CF \times \quad L.C.M = 1st number \times \quad 2nd number

L.C.M = \quad \frac {1st \quad Number \times \quad 2nd \quad Number} {H.C.F}

L.C.M=\quad \frac {150 \times 100} {50}

L.C.M=300"
