7x−3y−36=0

A general equation for line having slope m is , y = mx + c , where m is slope of line .

Here m =

3

7

,

So, 3y=7x+3c or 3y=7x+C

Now to eliminate C we will use the information that line passes through (3,-5),

−15=7(3)+C which gives c=−36 .

So equation of line is , 7x−3y−36=0 .
