Solution :-

Part 4) :-

Area of rectangle = 60 * 40 = 2400 feet² .

now,

→ Area covered by 6 circles = 6 * πr² = 6 * 3.14 * (20/2)² = 6 * 3.14 * 100 = 6 * 314 = 1884 feet² .

then,

→ % Rectangle area covered by circles = (1884 * 100) / 2400 = 78.5 %

Part 5) :-

→ Number of trees along length side = 60/5 = 12 trees .

→ Number of trees along breadth side = 40/8 = 5 trees .

then,

→ Total trees = 12 * 5 = 60 trees .

now,

→ Area covered by 60 trees = 60 * πr² = 60 * 3.14 * (5/2)² = 60 * 3.14 * 6.25 = 1177.5 feet² .

then,

→ % Rectangle area covered by smaller trees = (1177.5 * 100) / 2400 = 49.0625 %

since,

→ 78.5% > 49.0625%

→ Large trees area > smaller trees area

therefore , be comparing we get, the 6 trees occupy larger part of the rectangle .
