Angle made by Velocity vector with Y-axis is 60 degrees.

GIVEN: Velocity Vector V=10√3÷10j m/s
TO FIND: Angle made by Velocity vector with Y-axis.
SOLUTION:

As we are given in the question,

Firstly, A graph will be made by marking 10√3 on the x-axis and 10 on the y-axis.

Now we know,

xcosθ = 10

cosθ = 10/x

Now using the trigonometric rules,

xsinθ =  10√3

x * √x²-100/x = 10√3

x² - 100 = (10√3)²

x² - 100 = 300

x² = 400

x = 20
Now,

As written above,

cosθ = 10/x

cosθ = 10/20

cosθ = 1/2

cosθ = cos 60

θ = 60

Therefore,

The angle made by Velocity Vector with the y-axis is 60 degrees.
