Given x belongs to {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9}, solve x - 3 < 2x - 1​

very easy question. just solve like normal equation ;)

x-3<2x-1

x<2x+2

-2<x

now, when multiplying both sides with neg, sign reverses in comparison.

so, just do this

2>x

but, x is in a given range.

x is less than 2.

by coherence,

x=1
