Frequency which is also known as mode ,of a value is defined as the no. of times a particular observation occurs.

Example:
1 , 1 , 2 , 2 , 2 , 3 , 3 , 3 

In the above data,

→ 1 occurring 2 times is the frequency of 1.

→ 2 occurring 3 times is the frequency of 2.

→ 3 occurring 3 times is the frequency of 3.
