North India temple- they are mainly situated on mountains, slopes, society etc. they are simple as compared to south Indian temples. You need to walk a lot to reach because till a point cars can go.

South Indian temples- they are situated in public places and number of temples are there to worship. They normally worship Lord Vishnu and therefore most of the temples are of lord Vishnu. You can see early times war such Mahabharat that are drawn on the wall. You can go there by car, two-wheeler and by foot.
