Giving a pair of example each explain the difference between acceleration and retardation?

acceleration :- an object is said to be acceleration if it continuously increasing its speed .... eg :- if a stone is dropped from a height , a body moves in a constant speed in circular path as direction changes so acc is variable.
declaration:- an object is said to be deceleration if an object speed is decresing . eg:- if a stone is throw upward as its get deacceleated as it goes during upward journey as acceleration is in opposite direction....
