Giving an example list two information which make a chemical equation more useful (informative).

The answer!!:-

To make chemical equations more informative we mention :-

>The state of the reactant and product it is either solid liquid or gas
g for gases
s for solids
l for liquids
aq for aquoas solution.

>If gas we use up arrow sign
and if precipitate we use down arrow sign.

example:-
H2(g)+O2(g) ------> 2H2O(l)

Just the chemical equation lacks to provide much information like state of reactants and products, involvement of heat during reaction etc.
To overcome this we add notations like delta to indicate the involvement of heat, mention the state in parenthesis beside the reactants and products, putting up / down arrow to denote evolve gas / precipitation.

e.g.

C (s) + O2 (g) = CO2 (g) ↑ + Δ
