=>Zimbabwe is considered a democratic country because the government of ZANU-PF that led the freedom struggle and it was supported by the people. However, the party exercised some corrupt practices and repressed the people. Though, it is still considered to be a parliamentary democracy.

●Jacob Zuma ruled like a dictator

● In Zimbabwe for many years Prime Minister Robert Mugabe was very powerful man.

●Zimbabwe is a Democratic country but it is not considered as democratic country.

●In Zimbabwe People have no right to protest against the government .

●Media both print as well as electronic are controlled by the government.

●There is no independent judiciary as the government persuade judges to take decision in their favour.

●The ruler and his party gave rise to discrimination by subverted the principle of equality  the equality before the law  because the  party had followed their own rules by setting one standard for themselves and  the other standard  for the people they govern".

●Laws like insult law was crafted to maintain the dictatorship of the president Mogabe ,those who disobey will face the wrath of the very law..

●There are many other laws that has been crafted by his party like economic empowerment law  that is meant  to transfer majority  of the shares of foreign-owned firms to the countries  blacks.
