Climate plays an important role in population distribution on earth. Where the climate is moderate and favourable, population tends to be thick. Where it is harsh, the population will be much less.

Iceland and Greenland are examples of countries with very harsh, cold climate and therefore very less population.

Countries closer to the tropics are warm and some have moderate climate, both suitable for human habitation. Hence population tends to be concentrated in these areas. European, Mid-Asian countries, central America etc. fall within this category. The climate in such countries are conducive for agriculture and live-stock, which aids in feeding the human population.

2)For Example,In India,The Sparse Distribution Of Population Is Found In Snow Covered Regions In Himalayan Range As Well As Hot Thar Desert.Similarly,In Brazil,The Sparse  Distribution Is Found In The Amazon River Basin Receiving Heavy Rainfall.

3)The Dense Distribution Of Population Is Found In The Regions Having Average Amount Of Rainfall And Moderate Temperature.

4)For Example,In India,The Dense Distribution Of Population Is Found In Ganga Plains Having Average Amount Of Rainfall And Moderate Temperature.Similarly,In Brazil,The Dense Distribution Of Population Is Found Near The Southeastern Coastal Areas Having Average Amount Of Rainfall And Moderate Temperature.
