Correct Question :-

Find each angle of a parallelogram if two consecutive angles are in the ratio 1:3.

meter of a parallelogram is

Answer :

  • The angles of parallelogram are 45°, 135°, 45° and 135°

Step-by-step explanation:

To Find :-

  • All angles of parallelogram

Solution:

Given that,

  • The two consecutive angles of parallelogram are in the ratio of 1:3

Assumption:

Let us assume the consecutive angles of parallelogram as 1x and 3x,

As we know that,

  • [ Consecutive angles = Adjacent angles ] of parallelogram,
  • Two adjacent angle of parallelogram = 180

Therefore,

  • 1x + 3x = 180°

=> 1x + 3x = 180

=> 4x = 180

=> x = 180/4

=> x = 90/2

=> x = 45

Now, The angles of parallelogram are :-

The angle which we assumed as "1x"

  • 1x = 1*45 = 45°

The angle which we assumed as "3x"

  • 3x = 3*45 = 135°

Now, The other angles of parallelogram:

The angle opposite to 45° and 135° is 45° and 135° respectively, As opposite angles of parallelogram are equal.

Hence,

  • The angles of parallelogram are 45°, 135°, 45° and 135°.
