Answer:For the lens in air,

Since, 1fa=(.aug−1)[1R1−1R2]⇒120=(1.5−1)[1R1−1R2]⇒1R1−1R2=110

When the lens is immersed in water,

Since, 1fw=(μgμg−1)[1R1−1R2]⇒1fw=(1.54/3−1)×110

or 1fw=18×110=180 fw=80cm.
