Glass jars and bottles are dried well in the sun before filling them with pickles why is this done?

Because the water present while cleaning the jar small droplets of water remain in the jar. due to water the bacteria grows faster and spoils the pickle

I hope you know that pickles get spoiled easily because they reacts with oxygen. The formula of water is H(2)O.

It contains oxygen so it can lead to oxidation which makes pickles unfit for consumption.

So, glass jars and bottles are dried well before storing pickles in them.
