Glitter ball is non luminous.
- The substances which can independently produce light rays are known as luminous substances.
- But,the glitter balls cannot produce light by themselves.
- There are many small reflective mirrors which are attached in the external side of the spherical glitter ball.
- The glitter balls reflect light rays when light are emitted upon the external reflective surface of the glitter ball.
- If there is only a pitch dark environment, the glitter ball will not reflect any light rays.
That's why it is not a luminous substance.
