This is a bit confusing as Globalization in itself may have many different meanings. We have the service and industrial activities and the moment these activities are dispersed around the geographical regions, then, it is termed as Globalization. Globalization can take place within many different activities and fields – distribution, production, sales, service sectors companies etc.

“ When the economies of the world integrate and unite such that they are dependent on each other for sustainability, then it is Globalisation.”

This Globalization is a factor that is dynamic by nature rather than limited. Globalization can only be termed as the beginning and not the end of the economic dependence.  

This is one factor that is never considered to be unavoidable and the process if neither inevitable. Due to financial crises we have also seen examples of globalization where it has been reversed completely.

This means that the characteristics of Globalizations can simply not be restricted to expansion within information and communication sectors.

This is a type of trade that is performed much beyond the local national boundaries. It happens within the international borders. This also refers to the capital transfer on the global platform with an aim for expansion. There are companies that want to expend their services and business and so they prefer globalization. This is what gives rise to the corporate sectors.

Then again there are what is termed as the global brands, these are the types of goods that are served in the international market for higher, medium and low income countries. There is globalization in the field of outsourcing and offshore activities. Under this the entire product is manufactured in one place and is distributed and sold in the other place.

Within the globalization also comes the factor where you see migration come into existence. These are workers and labors who migrate from one country to another for job and livelihood. Every day new countries and nations are again joining the force of globalization trade system.

Then there is globalization within the infrastructure sector, where capital is invested in one part of the world with an aim to expand production and manufacturing. There are industries that are sharing their part of share in the global trades.

So, information and communication can be one of the factors responsible for globalization as it offers with convenience where countries can reach on a global platform. But globalization is just not limited till information and communication technology.
