Globalization negates traditional values:-

As we know that in 21st century world is going to become a big village. Modern day term for that is Globalization. Means whole world will be trade free & cross cultural. No restrictions of moving in & out of any country. Doing business or be the resident of new country will be at great ease. Good thing of globalization is that we are getting things at competitive & cheap rate with good quality from all over world. Bad thing is that we are losing our own identity as a one nation with distinguished art, culture & style which make us a great nation as always. There are many fears to be in globalization .Biggest fear of globalization is the losing our own identity of country. Globalization is like World is one place where all rules & things are the same & that probably leads to boringness & disrespect for each other. Fear of losing own jobs & market, going money out of own country, shut down of small vendors & enterprises, price manipulation & stiff competitions. The Fear of domination of outsiders on owns country & which may leads again slavery of 1000years in different ways also at large. In between all we surely can feel that we are moving away from our traditional values & core social system called family & friend. Globalization is more of mixture of all cultures & business between all there will be no boundaries for anything. Here come the differences of opinions of different generations of one place or another. In the race of knowing each -others blindly we may forget our art & craft. Our style & heritage which provides us many moment of proud .we became like others.  Our customs & traditions may lose its sheen So we can say that Globalization often neglect the traditions .It follows the profit & market only .

                 'Globalization negates traditional values'

Globalization has swept over the entire world like a tsunami. What is not that has not been affected by it! We have been completely globalized, though we claim we have not been! The two catalysts that have been transforming all the cultures the world over are IT revolution and media and networking advancement. MNCs have gone global. So has the western culture!

Though there are many bright sides of globalization, there are some dark ones also. Since Western culture is quite open and advanced, there is no restriction on pornographic and obscene channels. However, other cultures, especially the oriental ones are based on values of abstinence, self-discipline, and self-control. Such adult channels are really affecting other cultures. The westernization process of majority of the youth has already started. Preference for western style of life is visible everywhere. Fast food, western clothes, eating habits, smoking, drinking, going out, pubs, drive-through foods, jeans, etc. all are indicators of the westernization of our culture.

It depends upon us whether we allow ourselves to be influenced by the darker sides of globalization or not. But one thing is sure; if we will not be careful, it is definitely going to influence our culture. We need to take very careful precautions to preserve our culture in the midst of this onslaught of globalization, especially foreign entertainment and information on the impressionable minds of our children.

The wisest approach should be adopted. We must preserve our rich spiritual culture and allow wise blending of the globalization with it. I think the rich morality taught to us by our traditional oriental culture along with the efficient technological advancement given to us by the occidental culture will produce an ideal new culture whose benefits will be immense for the entire mankind.
