Glucose can be manufactured in different ways.In the process of photosynthesis. Glucose is formed due to the reaction between carbon dioxide and water. Fermentation of sucrose in presence of yeast forms glucose as an intermediate product .In whichever way it is manufactured the mass of the constituent element present in 1 mole of glucose remains fixed. In 1 mole of glucose, 72g of carbon, 12g of hydrogen and 96g of oxygen is present. When 1 mole of glucose burns in excess oxygen, 6 moles of carbon dioxide and 6 moles of water are formed . Answer the following questions based on the given information. a) Which law can be established based on the given information? (3) b) Determine the formula of glucose from the information provided. c) Calculate the gram molecular mass of glucose. (C = 12, H = 1, 0 = 16)
