Because althought it has hydrogen it does not give hydorgen ions in water as it is not an acid ,acids conduct electricity as they give hydrogen ions which react with h2o to give h3o-(hydronium) ions which r totally responsible for conduction. Of electricity and glucose doesnt do so because it doesnt give h+ions so the conclusion is that hydrogen is not really responsible for conduction of electricity. its theIONS that r responsible for conduction thus remember the electricity can only be conducted if gives h+ions that only acids give that u hope this help u

Glucose doesn't conduct electricity because it's a covalent compound . covalent compounds have no free and a delocalised electrons to move about as, they have a stable electronic configuration.
hope it helps.
