so a person cannot live without the presence of glucose in his body.

but if concentration of glucose gets increased in the blood then causes diabetes. which is a dangerous disease

In human body, glucose helps to produce ATP. It helps to transport free glucose in blood. It plays great role for the cell as the main source of energy. High blood glucose causes swelling of different parts of body. A person becomes weak due to deficiency of glucose. Therefore, glucose is both useful and harmful for human body.
