Glycerol (propane 1,2,3 triol) is more viscous than ethylene glycol ( ethane 1,2, diol). The viscosity depends on the amount of hydrogen bonding between molecules, and the more -OH bonds there is more hydrogen bonding can occur. So glycerol is the most viscous.
