A positive catalyst is nothing but the substance which increases the rate of reaction. In case of hydrogen peroxide decomposition as soon as the catalyst is added, an eruption of foam flies out of the top of the gas column and then the decomposition becomes easy.Hence we use potassium iodide solution as the catalyst but not glycerine.Hence given statement is false.
