Glycogen and proteins are both polymers. Explain why there can be one type of glycogen molecule, but there can be many types of proteins.

glycogen is a homopolymer(made up of single repeating unit) while in proteins are hereropolymers(made up of different amimoacids) hence there can many combination and permutation of amino acids and this different proteins
