yes its has the genes which helps in this property of it that is why it is called "perfect plant".  the genes are "barnase and bastar " derives from soil bacterium barnase provides the male strnity to plant whereas the bastar the female..
bar gene is the other gene which provides a enzyme calles pat i.e the tolerance to herbicide , weeds its eliminates weeds and plands which do not incorporate this gene is called " herbicide tolerance"
