1. Jumman's aunt had called upon the Panch as, there was deed between Jumman and herself, that if he takes care of her, then she would hand over her property to Jumman. Jumman did so, but only till the deed was signed, after that he started treating her in an indifferent manner and ill treated her.
2. Alagu had visited courts and had seen legal proceedings while he went to town for business. He was rightful and had a fair sense of conscience.
3. Alagu passed a fair verdict in favour of Jumman's maternal aunt.
4. It means that people who do not eat up their conscience and put justice above all, even above friendship and love are to be praised worthy people, and because of whom justice thrives on earth.
5. Alagu had passed the verdict in favour of Jumman's aunt, and had announced that Jumman would pay a monthly allowance to her, and in case of failure the deed signed between both would be considered null and void. Putting justice over friendship Alagu proved that the Panch speaks the voice of God.
