Answer:

God loves those who love others

It is absolutely true God loves those who loves others. This fact has been beautifully explained in the poems ‘Abu Ben Adam’ and ‘The Plate of Gold’.

In Abu Ben Adhem the angel confirms to Abu Ben Adhem that his name is in the book in which are the names of those whom God loves; Abu is ecstatic to know his name on the top.

In the poem Plate of Gold, the heaven’s gift is also for the peasant who loves his brethren and sisters sincerely.

Loving mankind and the world in general is the highest ideal emphasized by all great personages of all times. Be it Buddha, Jesus, Guru Nanak, Zoroaster, Yogananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, or any other great soul whom the world admires, all of them emphasized on loving humanity and all life forms.
