Godavari flows from the west to the east. WGodavari flows from the west to the east. Why?

1. South India is situated on the Deccan plateau region.

2. The Deccan plateau is slightly tilted towards east.

3. The Godavari rises at Nashik in Western ghats of Maharashtra.

4. The river Godavari rises in Western ghats and flows through the Deccan plateau before joining Bay of Bengal.

Therefore the River Godavari Flows from West to east.
