Gold and iron particles are mixed and a magnet is brought near the mixture. Will the mixture get attracted to the magnet? Give reasons for your answer.​

If it is a solid mixture , then the whole mixture will get attracted towards the magnet because iron is mixed with gold, but if the mixture is in liquid form only iron particles will get attracted.

Explanation:

gold is not magnetic that is why in liquid only iron will come to magnet but in solids we can take example of a ring because some rings have iron and gold both in them but the whole ring gets attracted.
