Hi.......
Golgi apparatus:- The Golgi apparatus first described by camillo Golgi.consist of a system of membrane bound vesicles arranged approximately parallel to each other in stacks are cisterns . these membranes of ER and therefore constitute another portion of a complex cellular membrane system .....
...I hope this helps you....
⭐ Camillo Golgi first described the Golgi apparatus. [ 1898 ]
⭐ It is a membrane bound organelle found in eukaryotes.
⭐ The Golgi bodies are thick laminated plate like structure.
⭐ It is located in the cytoplasm next to the endoplasmic reticulum near the nucleus.
⭐ It consists of flattened sacks or cisternae, vasuckes and vacuoles.
⭐ These are rich in fatty materials.
✏ It's functions include storage, modification, and packaging of products in vesicles.
✏ Golgi complex is associated with the cell secretion.
✏ These form Lysozomes and peroxisomes.
