psychology is related to both science as well as art .
The psychology of science is a branch of the studies of science that includes philosophy of science, history ofscience, and sociology of science.
The psychology of art and aesthetics is the study of the perception and experience of the visual arts, music, film, performances, literature, design, and the environment.

so , in this way it is same . you can find more also reasons for that .
thanks

Psychology is an Art I can say. Or it can be like more an Art and less science in it.
Reasons are:
1. Science is mostly based on principles formulas apparatus testable explanation and prediction...than on the scientist.
2. Art is more Artist dependent. For example a dancer is not a scientist but Artist. Dance moves wherever the dancer is even though the Dancing has a little science in it.
3. Psychology is also a psychologist dependent, more an Art from whom it is handled/practised. Yes! He uses scientific apparatus ways n means some times for speedy diagnosis. Yet, psychology is atleast to me 95% art oriented...means an Artist dependent one!!
