f(x) =  {2x}^{4}  - 13 {x}^{2}

is divisible by :-

(x - 2)(x - 1)

Therefore :-

f(2) = 2 {(2)}^{4}  - 13 {(2)}^{2}  + a(2) +  b= 0

 =  > 2 a+ b = 20

........(i)

And,

f(1) = 2 {(1)}^{4}  - 13 {(1)}^{2}  +  a+ b = 0

 =  > a + b = 11

........(ii)

On solving both eq. we get

a = 9 and b = 2
