velocity is the rate of change of displacement and Acceleration is the rate of change of final velocity and initial velocity.
velocity =displacement/time and Acceleration=(final velocity-initial velocity)/time

Velocity - velocity of a body is the distance travelled by it per unit time in a given direction.

In velocity, the direction of motion of the body is not specified.

Acceleration - acceleration of a body is defined as the rate of change of its velocity with time.

the SI unit of acceleration is m/sec .
