For the commercial production of herbal drugs, cultivation of raw materials/medicinal plants should be carried out in line with the terms of good agricultural practices (GAPs). GAPs, in general, have four integral structural components, commonly known as the 4Ss of GAP: clean soil, supply, sanitation, and surfaces.
