This is a story of my life. It happened today. I am unable to do anything but sit here in my cubicle and write about it.
I got a call from my father at 4 AM in the morning today. This was the first time I ever got a call at that time from my parents in the last 5 years I stayed away from them. He said,
"Son, Don't panic. Your grandmother is dead. She died at about 3.30 - 4.00 am today. Come if you can. I will try to keep her body till 6 pm."
That's all he said. Nothing else. I didn't say anything. I am in Hyderabad right now and my home town is about 800 Km away from here. There is no direct flight, even to the nearest city. No direct buses or trains. It will take a minimum of 20-25 hours if I travel by best of the buses. There is an airport at about 4 hours away from my home. I ran to Hyderabad airport asking for flights to that place. Jet airways and Spicejet had one flight each. Only one. I begged them to allot me a seat somehow. Yes, the flight was full. I stayed in front of their ticket counters until the flight left, hoping for some cancellation. The ladies there, could do nothing for me except feel sad for me. I had no choice. I had to return home.
I had been to my home town on 26th of January. I didn't visit my grandmother's place. I was 'too busy' to go and say 'Hello' to her. When my uncle called and told me to come during that day, I said, "I will come in February. I am busy. She will be there."
She was there till 4th February, 3 30 AM for me. But, I wasn't there for her. I loved her like anything. I locked myself in my room and cried. She didn't come back. They cremated her at about 12 00 pm. My mother called and said, "Beta, she died in a great time. 3 00 to 4 00 am didn't have any astrological defects. Her soul will rest in peace. Forgive yourself."
I can't. I ever won't.

Raj came out from the building. He had a file in his hand. He started walking with lots of thoughts in mind and passed by the stall.
He glimpsed at a young boy nearby the corner who was looking like a college student. He was enjoying his cigarette.
Raj went near by him, tapped him & asked, "Can I have a drag?"
The student offered him ciggi by saying, "Sure bro!"
Raj smiled, took ciggi in hand and said, "Aren't we smokers amazing? I mean our hero Mukesh appears in every cinema before any movie. What an important, you see?"
The student found Raj's word weird, so he acknowledged a confuse look to Raj

DEATH - THE GREAT EQUALIZER
A man was very hungry. There was nothing in the house to eat. So he stole a rooster from a chicken farm.
The rooster was boiling in the pot when someone knocked at the door. The man thought it was the owner of the bird and didn't open the door. But as the knocking continued, he asked, "Who are you and what do you want?"
"I am God and I want something to eat."
"I'm sorry but I cannot give you anything," said the man.
"Why?" asked the Lord, "I smell food and you can share it with me."

A child was drowning in the river. People were looking on but no one was doing anything. Suddenly a man jumped in the river and recued the boy. The boy said " thanks for all your efforts to save my life"
Man replied " make sure to live a life that dont make me regret my efforts"
