 \sqrt{23 + x \sqrt{10} }  =  \sqrt{18}  +  \sqrt{5}

Squaring both sides , we get ,

23 + x \sqrt{10}  = 18 + 5 + 2 \sqrt{18}  \sqrt{5}

 =  > 23 + x \sqrt{10}  = 23 + 2 \sqrt{90}

 =  > x \sqrt{10}  - 2 \sqrt{90}  = 23 - 23

 =  >  \sqrt{10} (x - 2 \sqrt{9} ) = 0

 =  > x - 2 \times 3 = 0

 =  > x - 6 = 0

x = 6
