Answer: The biosphere is the portion of Earth where life occurs -- the portions of the land, water and air that hold life. There are 3 parts of biosphere they are, the lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere. The lithosphere is the land mass, excluding Earth’s mantle and core, which do not support life. The hydrosphere is the aquatic portion of the planet, all of which supports life. The atmosphere is the air that living organisms use for respiration, and which supports life up to 2,000 meters above the planet’s surface.

Answer:

Biosphere

Explanation:

The biosphere , also known as the ecosphere , is the worldwide sum of all ecosystems . It can also be termed the zone of life on Earth . The biosphere is virtually a closed system with regards to matter , with minimal inputs and outputs . The biosphere is made up of the parts of Earth where life exist—all ecosystems . The biosphere extends from the deepest root systems of trees , to the dark environments of ocean trenches , to lush rain forests , high mountaintops , and transition zones like this one , where ocean and terrestrial ecosystems meet . The biosphere is defined as the area of the planet where organisms live , including the ground and the air . An example of the biosphere is where live occurs on , above and below the surface of Earth . Biosphere is important for living organisms because it is termed as the zone of life on earth . And because it is the ecological system of earth . The biosphere can also be referred to the zone of life on Earth .
